I am delighted to be at Salem in the role of pastor (and occasional musician). I have been following Jesus since I was a little girl and over the years I’ve grown to appreciate the love and grace of God more and more. Loving my six grandchildren, I enjoy playgrounds and playdoh all over again. Dan and I love to get out on our kayaks or check out local restaurants. Quilts, gardens, and books fill up any of my leftover free time.
I was born and raised in Enola PA. I’m the mother of 3, Grandmother of 6, and great grandmother to 3. I am very Blessed to be part of the Salem Church family. My heart belongs to the clothing center, where we help so many needy people. I have been employed by the church since April 2018, and have been volunteering in the clothing center since 2011.
Caleb SisakOrganist and Musical Director
I have had the pleasure of working with the church for 14+ years. I lead all musical aspects of the weekly Sunday service. In addition to this work, I coordinate with the pastor in the selection of hymns, solos, and other special music for services. I rehearse with and accompany vocal and instrumental soloists on organ or piano. When the church has special musical services, I conduct bell/vocal choirs. When I’m not working with the church, I have a full-time job with the PA House of Representatives.
I’ve been singing and playing violin at Salem for the past 33 years, adding the gift of music to the hymns, prayers, sermon and other worship elements. I have an interest in a wide variety of music, including a classical and opera repertoire and have sung several supporting operatic roles in the Harrisburg area and played violin in the Harrisburg Symphony. In addition to my work as the church soloist, I am a local lawyer whose experience includes positions within the legislative and executive branches of government.
